Scrounged up all the bits of left over paint cans and brushes that haven't been left out to die into a box and moved out west.
Life on the farm in the sunny Okanagan has come to a halt and a new course has began with a breath of salty air .
I've moved my studio and of course the rest of my family to Vancouver Island where I now paint overlooking the ocean and watch the fat dark clouds threaten rain on my little parade every 25 minutes of the day. I'm love'n it...the mild temperatures make me want to go walk through the tall wet grass again and I now have a reason to buy a pair of Welly's (Hunters of course).

COMING SOON TO FINE FINDS....
Preparing a new series of small 10 x 10 box paintings....these can be purchased in multiples for best effect. Each box will be 2.6 inches deep and will have some cool fashion inspired patterns and prints incorporated into them.

OKANAGAN FUND RAISER.....
PRESENTING AN ORIGINAL PAINTING TO BE AUCTIONED OFF AT THE RISE OVERLOOKING OKANAGAN LAKE. KEEP YOU POSTED..does this mean I have to go buy a fancy dress??! Damn.

This piece is called "Two Chicks and a Chunk" ....I love creating a spectacle for small, odd things.

U8 event, SOPA FINE ARts, Kelown BC

Hey I found cool hip people in Kelowna! They all seemed to congregate in one place
at the opening reception at the Sopa art gallery. Located in a funky little suburb east
of the crappy endless strip mall Kelowna is so famous for, I was pleasantly surprized to see
a contemporary minimalist style space filled literally to the rafters with abstract oils and mixed media works that were all painted by emerging humble artist...including myself.

Ok, being a young artist and moving outside of a metropolitan city to mellow farm country is a challenge....especially when your fighting to keep cutting edge with style and content. I can't even keep up with cell phone ring downloads...apparently my ring is dorky. So now I "Slap It like that...." with Justin each time my phone rings. When you live in rural North Okanagan, some people give you the "...is that woman retarded" look upon seeing you start wiggling your but when you answer your phone.
